    When we learn about each other we gamble. We dare to express ourselves. We all seek to be understood. Be generous with your time. Make the choice to give this gift with grace.

  • Mission

    I was inspired by a quote on the back of an album as a teen. “To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.” - EE Cummings. It had a profound impact on my life. It takes hard work to be yourself and it’s worth the work. The artwork and expressive words we combine today are meant to recreate that story for others. We want to have a positive impact on people's lives through pencil sketches and storytelling.

    Boat challenged us to move toward each other.

    Drawing from life experience, random daily conversations, and quotes from long ago, the sketches made us think.

    Relationships are closer, communities are stronger, and people sense that they are being heard. 

    We have found good in others by honestly listening. The artwork has become the voice in our head that won’t quit. We are committed and together, as if we were in a little boat.
