Puppy cookies are when your dog eats shit. You’re disgusted and hope nobody else saw it happen. It's really gross and you can’t even look at them. 

But you once ate it. You fell down. We were all new to the world at one point. Toddlers bumping around on wobbly legs putting everything in our mouth…

 It’s OK if you're new, it’s OK if you fall down, it's OK if you eat shit once in a while in front of everyone.

This is a shared experience that everyone can relate to. When everyone else is laughing you need to laugh at yourself.
